A Talbot STP system used in a chemical, pharmaceu8cal or paper mill has between 5,000 and 8,700 opera8ng hours per year

An installed performance of 170 kW, for example, generates 1,360 MWh of electricity over 8,000 opera8ng hours

With a minimum lifespan of 20 years, the total electricity genera8on over the lifecycle is 27,200 MWh

The generated energy does not have to be transported via high-voltage lines, since it is generated directly from steam that is available at the consumer's site

If you now take the statutory CO2 value per kWh for Switzerland, this results in a saving of 653 t CO2. The result for Germany is 15,667 t CO2 and for Austria 4,515 t CO2 savings per installed Talbot STP

When properly maintained, Talbot STP systems have a lifespan of over 20 years
